Open Farm Days and More Preserving Classes!

Here’s a great opportunity to explore a mixed organic farm on the Hants Shore!

Red Fox Farm is open to the public on Fridays in August, September, and October, from 2:00-8:00pm.  Come and explore the farm, walk the trails, bring a picnic, visit the livestock, and check out the market gardening activities. Produce and plants are available for sale.

We also have a free line-up of workshops on preserving and gardening. To participate in any of the free workshops below, please call (902-757-1640) or email ( to reserve a place. Please note, we do charge for any ingredients participants take home.

The farm is at 182 Red Bank Rd. in Centre Burlington.  Watch for the Heliotrust sign, and park on the road.  (Please do not bring pets to the farm.)

October 7 – convenience food – from your garden to the freezer

October 14 – make your own sauerkraut or kimchi

October 21 – make your own sourdough bread the easy way
